Ngataringa Bay Primary Schools Fun Day

Congratulations to Ron Williams and his team of helpers and supporters.
The North Harbour, Auckland and Counties Primary Schools Rugby Fun Day was another outstanding success, not only for the smooth running of the day but also for the great turnout of so many Barbarian club members.
We must also thank the Blues management for their support of the day. Having the players from the Blues franchise present was a real bonus for the primary school students and I hope the Blues enjoyed the day.
Thanks once again to Peter Thompson and Barfoot & Thompson for their generous support. It is very much appreciated.

Bay of Plenty Primary Schools Fun Day

The forthcoming BoP Primary Schools Rugby Fun Day is on Wednesday June 18 at Paengaroa, commencing at 8.30am.
At this stage we have about 20 Barbarian members attending and up to 30 of the Chiefs squad will be there. Come and join us.
Paengaroa is south of Te Puke. If you aren’t sure where to find us, google ‘Paengaroa’ and you will see the rugby grounds which are the biggest part of Paengaroa.

All Blacks v England

This weekend will be a big one for Dean Paddy and his outstanding team and he has made all the necessary preparations to make it a good one.
We will look forward to welcoming you into the clubrooms if you are going to the game.
Please ensure that you have your membership and visitor cards if you want to come into the club before and/or after the game. Tickets in the stand will also allow you, as a member, to get into the club.
If you are bringing visitors to the club, please come into the club first, contact one of the custodians (Mark Moore, John Mills, Mike Mills or Terry Horne) and obtain visitor passes from one of the duty custodians.
All visitors must be accompanied by a member. And please remember to return any visitor passes you may have received to the custodians by the end of the evening.

Membership fees

Sorry to keep raising this issue but there are still 65 members under the age of 70 who haven’t paid their sub. We need you support to manage the administration of the club.
The real reason for adding ‘Membership fees’ to this newsletter, though, is to try and identify two subscription payments that have been made to the BNZ. Unfortunately, we can’t identify who made the payment.
We do have the date the subscription was paid, so if you have paid your sub and haven’t received your membership cards yet, please contact the secretary – sec@brfc.co.nz or 846- 7241 and we will arrange for your membership cards to be delivered.

Barbarians teams on tour

A Barbarians side, made up mainly of Northland and Blues development players, will play the Blues in Whangarei on Friday the June 13 at Toll Stadium, Whangarei.
Similarly a Barbarians team comprising Highlanders and Crusaders squad members plus other invited players will play the Highlanders in Invercargill on Friday the June 20.
