The New Zealand Barbarians Schools were named this morning for the two international schools matches next week against Australian and Fijian Schools in Porirua.
New Zealand Barbarians club president Bryan Williams, and New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby Council chairman Garry Chronican made the announcement. The New Zealand Schools side was also chosen.

New Zealand Barbarians Schools coach Darren Larsen, who assisted with the 2013 side under Dave Dillon, says the standard of talent in his side demonstrated the depth of talent in college rugby.

“There’s a great mix of players in the team, from players with the X-factor to hard grafters who get in and get the work done.
“We are looking at a pool of talent that is likely to produce our future Super Rugby players and All Blacks, and that’s exciting. We are in for some exciting rugby.”

St Kentigern College prop Sean Paranihi was ruled out of selection due to injury.
